The Huon Trail Touring Route is an initiative of and funded by the Huon Valley and Kingborough Councils in Southern Tasmania. The Huon Trail Touring Route is the best and easiest way of exploring the southern most region of Tasmania. It encompasses the Huon Valley, the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, Bruny Island and the Far South corner of Tasmania.
Tourism operators of the region are represented by the Huon Valley and Kingborough Tourism Association Inc. This website and the Huon Trail Touring Map and Guide have been produced by the Huon Valley Council in consultation with industry.
