Tassie Blue Blueberries
Blueberries are an ideal pick-your-own fruit because they have no prickles and there is no need to get on your knees or climb a ladder. During the January and February harvest time, Tassie Blue welcomes visitors who want to pick their own blueberries, or buy a punnet or a kilogram of pre-picked berries. The farm is also the home of Poverty Point fruit wines. There are picnic and barbecue facilities at the farm, or you might want to take your berries to nearby Drip Beach (good for swimming) or Kays Beach, where just about every stone contains a fossil.
Hartz Mineral Water
The source of the world’s finest and purest mineral water is deep beneath the pristine wilds of Tasmania’s World Heritage Wilderness. The typical analysis of the mineral water is a well-balanced blend of elements and minerals with a subtle natural 'sweetness' that is appealing to the palate. The Hartz range includes mineral waters enhanced with natural flavours and fruit essences, carbonated and cold filtered to maintain the integrity of the flavours. They’re available at Huon Trail restaurants, cafés and bistros.
