The School of Wooden Boat Building
Located on the Huon River at Franklin. Students learn traditional skills
of craftsmanship as they complete a nationally recognised diploma course
in wooden boat building. Along side the school’s workshop is the Wooden
Boat Discovery Centre where you can discover the wonderful world of wooden
boats, learn about their history, the secrets of construction, tools and
timbers, and soak up the creative atmosphere of a wooden boat workshop
