Wilderness Experiences
Tahune AirWalk
Located near Geeveston Tahune AirWalk provides an experience of
serenity in Tasmania’s Southern Forest. A magnificent tree-top walk, that
extends for 597 metres, and the swinging bridges allow you to discover the
changing scenery of this gorgeous forest through different stages of its
lifecycle. At the end of the AirWalk, suspended 48 metres above the ground,
the cantilever provides impressive views of the Picton and Huon Rivers within
the surrounding forest. Catch your breath as the rush of the two rivers,
the song of many a bird, and the scent of an age-old mystical forest engulf
you.

Hastings Caves and Thermal Springs
The Hastings Caves State Reserve offers visitors a variety of experiences,
from relaxing in the warm waters of a thermal springs pool, walking in
the rich forests of the reserve and, of course, the unique experience
of exploring Newdegate Cave. Both the thermal pool and the trail which
leads through the surrounding forests are accessible to wheelchair users.
Newdegate Cave is the largest tourist cave in Australia, which occurs
in dolomite rather than limestone. Its richly decorated chambers began
forming tens of millions of years ago. Don't miss the opportunity to take
a tour of the cave with qualified Parks and Wildlife Service guides.
